DEAR FRIEND, LOVE...

DEAR FRIEND, LOVE...

Dear Friend, Love… is an affectionate deep dive into my thoughts. A monthly newsletter chronicling any and everything from fashion and design to culture, travel and more. The fragments of my world, with love.

  • Jeans and a nice tee

I’ve been dying to share some of my favourite white t-shirts and graphic tees with you all since starting the letter. As much as I love getting dressed up, a part of me will always feel most comfortable in a good t-shirt and jeans (like Matthew Mcconaughey in Dazed and Confused) and this week’s letter is in honour of both.

  • Let's try again shall we

Getting into writing regularly has definitely proven trickier than I had thought. But, I’m determined to keep going, if only because my mum would be on my case if I didn’t.

  • Girlhood, Barbieworld and the perfect accessories to match

So, it’s definitely been more than two weeks since my last newsletter - and before I go on today’s particularly sappy spiel about girlhood - I felt, at the very least, I owed you all a recognition of my absence. Needless to say, I have little intention of letting us go this long without talking again and, as always, I hope you enjoy.

  • Welcome

The urge to gloss over an introduction and dive straight into the deep end was extremely tempting. But, I felt like I might regret missing an opportunity to define this while it’s still fresh. Fortunately, the past few weeks have brought clarity to the sort of impact I would love to have on my community - in many ways, as a response to the impact many of you have had on me. So, my first course of action - which, not so surprisingly, is something I’ve actually been sitting on for months - was to get this newsletter out. Dear Friend, Love … grew out of many conversations with my oldest friend, Nene. A bit of food, lots of fashion and a sprinkling of my own personal thoughts, conversations and perspectives, I want DFL to capture the essence of what it’s like sitting at the axis of my many communal lines and hope my words are able to capture that interaction as time goes on.
